U of S to Lead New $6-M Federally Funded Feeds and Biofuels Research Network

The federal government will invest $6 million in the new Feed Opportunities from the BioFuels Industries (FOBI) network which will be led by the University of Saskatchewan's Feeds Innovation Institute.
The network of more than 60 researchers across Western Canada will focus on creating higher-quality livestock feed from waste products leftover from the conversion of wheat into ethanol-based fuel, thereby stimulating growth of both the livestock and ethanol biofuel industries.
