PCS Centre Unveiled on Campus

Today University President, Peter MacKinnon, and William Doyle, President
and Chief Executive Officer, Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan Inc. (PCS)
officially opened the new PCS Centre in the College of Commerce.

Glenn Hagel, Minister of Post-Secondary Education and Councillor Don
Atchison, from the City of Saskatoon, also took part in the ceremony.

The teaching facility, made possible by a $5 million donation from the
Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan, the largest donation ever made to the
University, will improve the delivery of business education to the
University?s students.

Construction on the 1,200 square metres PCS Centre took almost two years and
was completed this Spring. The total cost of the project was $6 Million.

The PCS Centre comprises six case study rooms and a 175-seat lecture theatre
with state-of-the-art multimedia and electronics equipment.

"We are enormously proud of the PCS Centre and grateful to PCS for its
donation," said President MacKinnon. "The new facilities will greatly
enhance the University?s ability to deliver a range of high-quality
instructional programs at the College of Commerce."

William Doyle from PCS added: "We hope the new PCS Centre will prepare and
nurture the decision-makers of the future for the global opportunities that
lay ahead."

The College of Commerce will have 1,800 full-time students enrolled in the
Fall. The College offers four degree programs: a B. Comm, an M.B.A., an
M.Sc. of Accounting or Finance or Marketing and a Master of Professional
Accounting.
